Our Vision
A just, inclusive, and sustainable Northeast India and beyond where indigenous communities flourish with pride in their cultural heritage, supported by accessible education and healthcare, strengthened through skills and livelihoods, and empowered to live in harmony with nature. We envision communities that are self-reliant, resilient, and active contributors to equitable social and economic development.
Our Mission
To empower indigenous and marginalized communities across northeast and the rest of India by ensuring equitable access to quality education, inclusive healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods. We are committed to promoting gender equality, preserving cultural heritage, fostering social justice, and advancing environmentally responsible practices in line with the Sustainable Development Goals. Our mission is to nurture dignity, identity, and resilience among communities, enabling them to lead self-reliant and fulfilling lives.
1. Cultural Preservation and Knowledge Promotion
Preserve and promote indigenous knowledge, arts, and traditions through education and community initiatives. Develop heritage programs, publish cultural works, and create archives to safeguard community history.
2. Language and Heritage Revitalization
Preserve native languages through teaching, publications, and multimedia tools. Encourage proficiency and cultural continuity across generations.
3. Health and Well-being
Promote holistic health through awareness, preventive care, and accessible services. Support maternal, child, and mental health while integrating traditional and modern healing practices.
4. Education, Literacy, and Capacity Building
Promote literacy and lifelong learning through schools, libraries, and digital centers. Build skills for self-reliance and collaborate with institutions for better educational opportunities.
